As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental Health Service Provider through the Tennessee State Health Boards I strive to provide effective counseling practices to my clients. I am recognized with the National Board of Counselors as a Board Certified Counselor. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Level 1 and 2 through the EMDRIA organization. I am trained as an Emotional Focused Therapist. I provide individual, couple, and family therapy. I specialize in grief, trauma and loss. I also work with couples who are struggling to connect. I have served as an adjunct lecturer for the Behavioral and Social Sciences School teaching Interpersonal Family Relationships and Family and Resource Community Management I am passionate about the counseling profession and value both the science (evidence based practices) and art of therapy. I think therapy is important to be personalized and I strive to help my clients reach their goals, have space to tell their story, and have a space that is for them about them. I integrate many interventions based on my clients needs and treatment goals.
In my personal time I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my family. I enjoy music and reading.
